You will provide overall policy and program support, technical assistance, training, and consultation regarding child welfare services. This will include analyzing access to physical and behavioral health care services, implementing the child fatality process in accordance with state law, and remaining current with polices and regulations. This role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, as you will attend conferences and committees; review literature; draft, facilitate, and present child welfare information; and respond to the general public and media inquiries.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Work schedule may be negotiable.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
  • Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor's degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
