Job Description:
The Department of Human Services is on the lookout for a driven and meticulous individual to become a part of the Bureau of Data and Claims Management (BDCM) under the Office of Medical Assistance Programs. If you have a passion for delivering technical support that enhances the efficiency of a service program, this position could be the perfect fit for you.

This role is situated within the Office of Medical Assistance Programs (OMAP), specifically in the Bureau of Data and Claims Management (BDCM), under the Division of Technical Services, within the Core MMIS Analysis Unit (CMAU). BDCM collaborates closely with various offices within the Department of Human Services (DHS) to serve as a vital link among OMAP's program bureaus, the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) of Pennsylvania, its Information Technology (IT) vendors, other enterprise information systems managed by DHS and their respective IT vendors, as well as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The primary responsibility of BDCM is to ensure the availability of a comprehensive range of data and information system capabilities that facilitate the effective and efficient delivery and payment of medical assistance services for millions of beneficiaries across Pennsylvania.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time with a minimum of one day per month in the office. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
  • Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor's degree;or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
