Job DescriptionThe Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is excited to offer a career growth opportunity to a motivated and talented individual for the Human Services Coordinator Supervisor position in the Berkshire Area Office.The Human Services Coordinator Supervisor (HSC II) will work with assigned staff and the Area Office Supervisory Team to build respectful and collaborative partnerships with individuals, families, guardians, provider agencies and other stakeholder groups involving the work of the Area Office and Department. The HSC II provides direct supervision, support, consultation, and orientation to assigned Human Service Coordinator Is and other staff. The HSC II is considered a critical and integral member of the Area Office supervisory team in planning and resource allocation activity involving community services.Additional Human Services Coordinator II responsibilities include: the planning, prioritization, and coordination of work by assigned staff which incorporates administrative, supportive and educational components; monitoring of Individual Service Plans; maintaining compliance with all relevant policies and procedures. This position is also responsible for assuring that case documentation is maintained and consistent with standards and identifying individual cases involving health, safety, risk and changing needs and ensuring that they are brought to the attention of the Area Director or designee(s), while engaging in problem solving. The HSC II also monitors and provides consistent performance planning, feedback and evaluations to assigned staff. This position will also perform other related duties as required.PLEASE NOTE:

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm; Days off: Sunday/Saturday
