The Department of Human Services, Division of Participant Supports, is seeking a dynamic Human Services Program Specialist to join our team. In this essential role within our case management unit, you will play a key part in overseeing and supporting critical processes that drive meaningful outcomes. If you are ready to advance your career and make a real impact, we invite you to apply today!DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this position, you will support participants, families, and local agencies in resolving concerns, grievances, and service needs, particularly related to home and community-based programs, ensuring participants receive high-quality, effective, and efficient services in their communities. Your main responsibilities will include managing operational reports assigned by a supervisor, analyzing data, and reporting any concerns to the Community HealthChoices, Managed Care Organizations (MCOs). You will act as a backup for the MCO team leads, assisting with complaints and inquiries, reviewing, and sending daily reports for MCO complaints received through the Office of Long-Term Living's (OLTL) participant helpline. Additionally, you will provide support and technical assistance for a range of home- and community-based services available to older Pennsylvanians and individuals with physical disabilities.Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description ( .Work Schedule and Additional Information:+ Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week+ Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.+ Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 5 days. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
