HVAC Associate As an HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Associate, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and cooling systems. Your responsibilities will involve working with a team to ensure the optimal functioning of HVAC equipment, promoting energy efficiency, and delivering high-quality service to clients.
Responsibilities - Install, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and efficiency of HVAC equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, identifying and resolving issues with heating and cooling components.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their HVAC needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Educate customers on proper system usage, maintenance, and energy-saving practices.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with a team of HVAC professionals, coordinating efforts to complete installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and project management, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations during all HVAC activities.
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards, codes, and best practices.
- Document work performed, including service reports and equipment specifications.
- Test HVAC systems for proper functionality after installation or repairs.
- Calibrate controls and adjust system settings to meet performance standards.
- Ensure the quality of workmanship in all HVAC installations and repairs.
- Conduct inspections to verify that systems meet specifications and client expectations.
Qualifications and Skills - High school diploma or equivalent; completion of HVAC certification or apprenticeship program is preferred.
- Previous experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and electrical circuits.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Benefits/Compensation - Full Time
