Job DetailsWe are seeking a skilled and motivated BAS Controls Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building automation systems (BAS), with a focus on hands-on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of BAS hardware and software. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients' systems operate efficiently and effectively, contributing to their overall energy management goals.Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and commission BAS/BMS and DDC controls systems.
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on BAS equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with BAS hardware and software to ensure optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors on-site to ensure successful project completion.
- Program BAS devices according to project specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical issues clearly and concisely to clients.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in BAS technology.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with BAS/BMS or DDC controls.
- Familiarity with one or more of the following platforms: Siemens, Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls, Alerton, Delta Controls, Trane, ALC, or similar.
- Experience with Tridium Niagara is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
