Job Title: Facilities TechnicianLooking for a HVAC facility tech in the Manhattan area. Main area will be HVAC, but overall understanding of plumbing, electricity, carpentry is a plus. All sites are in Manhattan.
Job DescriptionThe Facilities Technician is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of all facilities within a geographical region. This position will perform general building maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, HVAC, refrigeration, and appliance repair. The Facilities Technician will work alongside the Facilities Department leaders to maintain the aesthetic of our stores and ensure all equipment and systems are functioning optimally.
Responsibilities- Perform basic repairs on plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain store systems, equipment, and appliances.
- Perform basic routine preventative maintenance activities for all HVAC-R systems.
- Order supplies and materials needed to complete assigned tasks.
- Coordinate third party contractor activities and scheduling with Operations.
- Utilize Facilities Ticketing platform to track, assign, dispatch, and resolve tickets as necessary.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Essential Skills- Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs.
- Experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of refrigeration equipment maintenance.
- Basic carpentry skills.
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance activities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience in facilities maintenance.
- Maintenance of food service/prep equipment.
