Job Summary:Responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment in new construction residential homes following manufacturer specifications, industry codes and standards, and company requirements.Duties/Responsibilities:
- Installation of ductwork in residential new construction homes.
- Installation of HVAC equipment, thermostats, grilles, piping, and bath fans in new residential construction homes.
- Maintain quality standards on all installations and tasks.
- Always maintain safety standards.
- Prepare operational reports.
- Update job-related knowledge or skills.
- Communicate with other personnel to discuss project details.
- Must be willing to operate a company vehicle.
- All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A Valid Driver's License and clean Motor Vehicle Report.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, testing equipment, and safe installation of new and replacement parts.
- Must be self-motivated and driven to get the job done quickly and to the best of their ability.
- Must possess hand tools and power tools to execute job duties.
- Must complete tasks, as assigned, within the company's standard timeframe.
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.
- Physical dexterity.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of experience installing duct or equipment without assistance in residential homes.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 to 100 lbs. at times.
