Welcome to working in the fast-paced and exciting world of Event Support. Frontwave Arena in Oceanside is the newest Multiuse event venue in North County San Diego bordering Orange County. The role is inclusive of standard building maintenance and PM Program completion but also Event Service and ensuring guests at Frontwave Arena come into an environment where they can enjoy the Facility.

The Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing a variety of work including the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds in assigned area(s). Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Compensation Data

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $26.00 to $34.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.For LA County Applicants: Qualified Applicants with arrest or Conviction records will be considered for Employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintains a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
  • Adaptable to customer needs.
  • Repairs various fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances, office equipment, etc.
  • Inspects assigned area on a routine basis and performs maintenance as needed to keep facility in functioning and serviceable condition.
  • Completes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures.
  • Reports on any major maintenance need and recommends corrective action as appropriate.
  • Demonstrates efficient and safe use of equipment and tools.
  • Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments.
  • Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications
  • Previous maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
  • Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
