HVAC Specialist Inc is now hiring HVAC Installation and Service Technicians to primarily install and service Westchester and Putnam Counties. Qualified applicants will have installation experience installing air conditioning & heat pump systems, heating oil & gas boilers, furnaces and geothermal systems.

Broad technical ability, minimum 3 years experience including ability to troubleshoot, repair heating, air conditioning, heat pumps, oil & gas boilers, furnaces and geothermal systems.

Techs will work Monday - Friday servicing boilers, furnaces and air conditioning units. Candidates should also expect to be on-call alternating weekends and nights. We offer generous compensation during on call rotation. We also provide opportunities to earn commission and bonuses.

Responsibilities:

• Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Inspect and perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC systems
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure efficient operation of HVAC systems
• Respond to emergency service calls for HVAC repairs
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

Requirements:To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an HVAC apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience
• EPA certification for handling refrigerants
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Legal ability to work in USA
