- Design and Development:
- Create, test, and implement HVAC product designs, ensuring efficiency, functionality, and compliance with industry standards.
- Utilize CAD and other engineering software to produce detailed design documentation.
- Project Management:
- Manage product development projects from conception through production, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate efforts and communicate progress.
- Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive products.
- Analyze data to improve existing products and develop new solutions.
- Performance Testing:
- Develop and execute testing protocols to evaluate product performance and safety.
- Troubleshoot HVAC systems and components to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and product manuals for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and complies with regulatory standards.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to sales and customer service teams regarding product functionality and performance.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to HVAC products.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC product design and development.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other engineering tools.
- Strong understanding of HVAC principles, market dynamics, and current industry trends.
- Preference for candidates residing in Texas.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with performance testing and regulatory compliance preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including travel in and out of the USA and Mexico.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish; excellent communication skills in both languages
