In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Service Support for the Technical Services team. Why this Role is Important:Budderfly installs a variety of advanced technologies to save energy on our customers' sites. Ensuring that these technologies operate efficiently and without issue is vital to the success of the organization. This role is for a key player among the impactful team which is tasked with ensuring that these technologies continue to operate at the utmost efficiency while ensuring optimal customer satisfaction. They will do this by ensuring that the Technical Services team is able to procure and receive any needed components to restore equipment to operable, efficient condition. The successful candidate will have a background in HVAC components as an HVAC Counter Salesperson or in a similar role. This background will be utilized to manage the expedition of parts orders through OEM resources, procuring parts from units stored at the Budderfly Distribution Center as well as the procurement of Preventative Maintenance (PM) materials for our field technicians.Responsibilities:
  • Quickly solve internal customer problems by expediting orders with OEMs or locating replacement parts
  • Service internal customers through the Budderfly Fulfillment process by taking orders and entering them into the system accurately
  • Establish, audit, and oversee HVAC Parts operational processes to ensure expectations are met by all parties.
  • Answer technical questions. Research as necessary.
  • Act as liaison between internal team members and OEMs to assist with research, price checking, and order placing.
  • Attend product knowledge meetings as required to further business knowledge
  • Retrieve orders from warehouse quickly and accurately
  • Maintain the ability to determine the status of an order at any given time
  • Accurately use order entry, computerized systems and other technologies as required
  • Oversee inhouse inventory or PM parts / materials; work with field technicians to ensure adequate stock
  • Maintain communication with vendors and factory personnel concerning warranty issues, product recall notices, operational problems with products, premature failures, and other issues as they apply to products and equipment sold and serviced.
  • Keep store inventory stocked; remove discontinued items from the Service storage locations
  • Direct vendors to meet service demands and customers' expectations.
  • Keeps daily logs and records of all functions in Company systems
  • Ability to travel to locations to assist with part failure troubleshooting and prevention planning
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience in commercial HVAC Sales or Parts
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • Maintaining positive relationships with contractors and customers
  • Coordinating multiple projects concurrently
  • Working knowledge of the techniques, methods, tools, & safety precautions of the working in a distribution center environment.
  • Enjoys continuous learning, as supported by your organization, both technically and professionally
  • Excellent computer skills including but not limited to Excel, Word, NetSuite, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Work across / with organization Teams.
