Job Summary:

As our HVAC Sales Lead, you will engage directly with customers, understand their HVAC needs and recommend appropriate solutions. You'll design, implement, and manage a comprehensive direct-to-customer HVAC sales program. Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:
    • Create a positive customer experience.
    • Follow up on sales leads and lists with technicians, marked and self generated.
    • Address any resistance, negotiate value, and close the sale.
    • Educate new and existing customers on service offerings utilizing the company's sales system.
    • Recommend solutions and link customer objectives to a total value solution and competitive advantage.
    • Maintain a courteous demeanor with customers and associates at all times.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Effectively write and propose proposals.
    • Perform the necessary evaluation of the client's home including the comfort survey, engineering analysis, and load calculation.
    • Manage performance metrics scorecards.
    • Prepare financing paperwork and collect payments.
    • Complete all paperwork accurately and timely on all leads.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Demonstrates technical expertise and maintains a high degree of credibility.
    • Must be accessible by phone at all times, other than scheduled vacations.
    • Participate in all company sponsored training classes.
    • Maintain a professional image at all times by wearing company approved apparel.
    • Abide by all standards of performance and ethics.
    • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    Position Specific Standards:

    • Minimum of at least 3 years sales experience, preferably in the industry.
    • High School diploma or GED required; associate degree in related field preferred.
    • Experience in Service Titan Preferred.
    • Previous experience in service agreement sales and estimating.
    • Knowledge of industry equipment, field concepts, practices, procedures, tools equipment.
    • Strong relationship building skills, customer focused and disciplined.
    • Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
    • Must have computer experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Acee, and Google
    • Function in a team environment.
    • Valid Driver's license and approved by the company's insurance carrier.
    • Must be highly organized with good attention to detail and follow through.
    • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
    • Team player working in a team environment.
    • Geographical knowledge of the service area and/or map reading skills.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Office environment and local travel.
    • Climbing, lifting, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, and reaching.
    • Occasionally lift 5-10 lbs
    • Able to work under stressful conditions either verbal and/or physical confrontations.
    • Have good visual acuity to see and focus close, distance and peripheral vision with normal depth perception.
    • Willing to work extended hours, nights or weekends if needed.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    We offer a base salary at 50k/year, and an uncapped bonus structure that allows the opportunity to earn well into the six figure range.
