Scope: Oversee the operation of the HVAC service department with the intent to deliver 100% customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:
- Customer acquisition and retention/ deal with customer complaints
- Marketing for Orlando area. Grow department
- Employee acquisition and retention
- Help technicians with technical problems and job pricing
- Oversee dispatch operation
- Build on call schedule
- Drug test and background check service employees
- Check and supervise service jobs to make sure they are done properly and priced correctly
- Employee training and instruction to make service techs more efficient
- Keep track of service employee files in Bamboo HR software
- Explain policies and procedures to new employees. Initial new hire training
- Process invoices for billable service calls weekly and new construction warranty service calls
- Discharge of service employees
- Make sure that prices are checked for purchasing material
- Schedule and instructing tech meetings
- Evaluate tech performance and submit raises
- Approve and submit employee tool loans
- Oversee work of service warehouse personnel
- Follow up on customer estimates
- Commercial estimates and remodel
- Maintain a clean and organized work space
- Help team when needed
