Our organization, a leading player in the construction industry, is searching for a driven, experienced, and diligent HVAC Service Technician to join our team on a permanent basis. This position offers an opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, utilizing your skills in equipment installation, preventive maintenance, and refrigeration systems. As part of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of all HVAC-related operations within our construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HVAC Service Technician who is looking for a dynamic work environment where they can grow both personally and professionally.

Responsibilities:

As an HVAC Service Technician, your duties will include but are not limited to:

Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.

Identifying maintenance risks on equipment and implementing preventive measures.

Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.

Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.

Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.

Providing technical direction and on-the-job training to junior staff.

Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.

Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements.

Assisting with customers' queries and providing expert advice and solutions.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, the candidate must have:

A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician or a similar role in the construction industry.

Proficient understanding of refrigeration systems, wiring diagrams, and the ability to diagnose problems with HVAC equipment.

Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems and their components, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Proven experience in equipment installation and preventive maintenance.

Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment.

High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or relevant field is a plus.

A valid driver's license.
