Hiring for a HVAC Field TechnicianPay: $20.00 - $35.00/hrLocation: Rochester, NY
Responsibilities:- Perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks on HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, and rooftop units.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, pneumatic and electronic control systems, pipe fitting, welding/brazing, and mechanical layouts.
- Diagnose and fix electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to carry out installations and repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Travel to job sites within a 30-mile radius of the headquarters in Rochester, NY.
- Use ladders, cranes, and various other types of lifts as required.
- Handle refrigerants, trade tools, and testing equipment.
Qualifications:- Experience in HVAC, plumbing, pipefitting, construction, service, and controls.
- Relevant certifications (OSHA, refrigeration, etc.).
- Ability to be cross-trained in welding, pipefitting, and sheet metal work.
