DescriptionOverview:The primary purpose of the HVAC Technician is to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and install HVAC and mechanical components/equipment. Perform Service projects/small jobs from beginning to completion and ensure total customer satisfaction throughout.High Level Job Functions:
- Installation and commission of all types of HVAC equipment, piping, control wiring, thermostats, motors, control boards, etc.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of HVAC equipment.
- Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.
- Establish and maintain clear communications with customers while both on and off the customer job sites.
- Review blueprints, submittals, building codes, or specifications to determine work details or procedures.
- Assist in maintain inventory and tool procurement of individual service vehicle.
- Measure, cut, thread, or bend pipe to required angle, using hand or power tools.
- Anchor steel supports from ceiling joists to hold pipes and equipment in place.
- Direct helpers engaged in pipe cutting, preassembly, or installation of HVAC systems or components.

- Understanding of drain and lineset connection requirements
- Cut, bend, or thread pipe for gas, air, or water lines

- Fabricate, assemble, or disassemble manufactured products by hand
- Pressure test piping system or equipment for leaks

- Braze or Solder copper tubing or components together

RequirementsRequired Education, Experience and Qualifications
- Current Licensed Technician, or verifiable experience in service of commercial HVAC systems.
- Holds an EPA Certification.
- Current Valid Driver's License.
- Required 3 years of experience in HVAC service
- Ability to troubleshoot, possessing mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to perform duties outside of scope of work when necessary.
