The Technical Support Specialist provides both pre-sale support, post-sale support, and training to customers and employees for assigned product groups. This role performs cross- functionally with other sales and support employees. Additionally, this role conducts product and employee training as needed. Let's Unpack This - Who are we? We are based out of Plantsville, CT and Springfield, MA and are apart of the Munch's Supply family of brands. We have been servicing Western Mass and Connecticut for 40 plus years. We house New England's largest and most complete stock of HEIL (ICP) service parts and provide daily delivery throughout Connecticut and Western Mass. What will you be doing?
- Provides excellent customer service through timely customer interaction, problem resolution or escalation with effective and efficient follow-up.
- Addresses customers politely and professionally in a courteous manner, even in situations that may become difficult or tense.
- Promptly responds to customer inquiries via phone, email, or fax with courtesy in a professional demeanor.
- Works with assigned manager to prepare for and conduct employee training and new product training as needed.
- Works with assigned manager in developing course agendas, curriculum, and comprehensive training testing as needed.
- Provides day-to-day technical support of dealers via phone and / or onsite assistance as required for assigned product groups.
- As directed, communicates service bulletins and alerts to dealers on a timely basis.
- Provides dealer and consumer problem resolution.
- Conducts field job site visits.
- Provides sales support where technical assistance or expertise is required.
- Travels as needed.
What do you bring to the table? Preferred Job Requirements - 5 or more years' experience with HVAC and related functions.
- 2-year HVAC degree or certificate
Minimum Job Requirements - High School diploma or its GED equivalent
- 2 or more years' experience with HVAC and related functions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office suite applications
- Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis.
