Job SummaryResponsible for HVAC and mechanical building systems, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, control systems, pipe fitting, and structural layouts.Skills and ExperienceFive to seven years related experience and/or training. Essential Functions and Duties (including but not limited to)
- Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Uses a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
- Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
- Determines parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need.
- Uses power tools and computers.
- Identifies, analyzes, and repairs equipment, instruments and products at the customer's location(s).
- Performs preventive maintenance and modifications as needed or requested by the customer.
- Seek out and submit Work Change Authorizations based on customer need.
- Maintains company vehicle by keeping records of service manuals, schedules with warehouse manager required maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to get along with others.
- Turns in all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
- Keeps current on all product offerings concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service and repair
- Provides technical support to customer.
- Ability to use provided software applications to document customer calls, labor and work performed.
Education
- Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning; or equivalent experience.
- EPA approved Universal Technician Certification
