The HVAC Technician repairs, checks, and calibrates all HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment, including specialty equipment as needed. Responsibilities include air balance and distribution, component replacements (including sealed systems), troubleshooting controls, and maintaining the hospital's energy management, DX, and water systems.Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.Trade or vocational school in HVAC is highly preferred.Must have strong knowledge of controls and electricity.Up to three years experience of on-the-job training in maintenance, installation and repair of HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and sterilizing equipment.Responsibilities:Installs new and/or modifies existing equipment or operating systems in accordance with specifications and supervisor's directions.Maintains the Fertility Clinic's HVAC.
