Total HVAC is seeking a Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team in Dallas, Texas. You will startup, service, and troubleshoot commercial air conditioning systems. Job Expectations: Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems Perform startup of all systems installed Comprehend electrical diagrams and sequence of operation or assist in installing control wiring Terminate control wiring Assist in test and balance /commissioning Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Company Information: Total HVAC is an established commercial HVAC construction company, involved in projects of various sizes in new construction, remodel, and tenant finish out throughout the state of Texas. Equipment utilized on projects varies: roof tops, split systems, water source, chill/hot water, and vav; tonnages from 5-30 are the most common. We install equipment from every manufacturer. Work area encompasses the entire state of Texas. Projects are primarily restaurants, banks, and small businesses. We have a strong reputation for working with our general contractors to deliver a quality job in a timely manner and we stand behind our work. Total HVAC has been a successful commercial HVAC construction company since 1999 and is a small, family-style business that cares about employees. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent 3 years commercial HVAC Technician field experience or 3 years install experience EPA Certification Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams Must have valid Texas driver's license with no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUIs in previous 5 years Able to travel 75% throughout Texas on overnight trips on a weekly basis Ability to work overtime as required Have your own tools Knowledge of use and safe operation of power tools and equipment, scissor/boom lifts Ability to lift 75 pounds and handle physical workload Good communication skills and professionalism Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Self discipline to manage daily schedule Drug free Benefits: Health Insurance Life Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance IRA Vacation Leave Sick Leave Holiday Pay Paid Time Off Short-Term Disability Salary: $25 - $38 per hour Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $25 - $38 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
