Job Information Primary Purpose: Under general supervision, maintain, repair, and install electrical systems, services, and equipment for the district. Maintain and provide for the safe condition and operation of all electrical fixtures and systems in district facilities. Also, maintain; repair, and perform prevention maintenance on HVAC and control systems. Education/Certification:
- Section 608 Technician's License
- Valid Texas driver's license
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC Systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair three phase RTU's and Spilt systems, including changing compressors
- Knowledge of control systems, including ability to troubleshoot and repair
- Extensive knowledge of air cooled chiller systems
- Extensive knowledge of boiler systems
- Knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring and operating principles of motors
- Knowledge of local electrical codes
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and written reference material
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Ability to diagnose and resolve problems
- Ability to use hand and power tools
Experience:
- Five years experience in electrical field
