Growing together.Key Responsibilities:Clinical Responsibilities (80%):Provide high-quality, patient-centered care at the Fishkill, NY clinical practice site.Practice evidence-based medicine and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.Utilize shared EMR systems to support coordinated care.Management Competencies:The APC Medical Director will act as a champion of the role of APC's within CareMount's care delivery model with a focus on APC recruiting, onboarding, education, scope of practice and role optimization.They will be responsible for developing and overseeing APC competency development and management through education, coursework and mentorship.In collaboration with leadership, they will support the continuous evolution of the role of APC's at CareMount including the evaluation of supervision, patient panels, specialty participation, and leadership.They will represent the view of APC's to leadership and ensure that APC's have the necessary tools, training, and organizational support to achieve clinical quality and productivity goals.Builds and manages workforce based on organizational goals, budget considerations, and staffing needs. Develops the ability of others to perform and contribute to the organization by providing ongoing feedback and by providing opportunities to learn.Manages and resolves conflicts and disagreements in a constructive manner. Together, we're making health care work better for everyone.Required Qualifications:Licensed and Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.Fully licensed in the state of NY.Experience in an ambulatory care setting and understanding of how ambulatory care functions.Minimum of 1 year leadership experience supervising other APC providers.New York Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $109,513 to $160,000 per year.
