This isn't just a job it's your chance to make a positive difference in the public sector and help our communities thrive!ResponsbilitiesMonitor the productivity of staff and the work plan on every engagementIdentify areas for which control and inherent risk assessments may be loweredUnderstand how changes in the economy, industry, and business processes affect the planning processGather appropriate evidence using advanced analytical reviewsIdentify situations when deviation from or addition to planned procedures is appropriatePlan engagements based on Risk AssessmentsDocument internal controls on a timely basisTest systems of internal control appropriately based on risk assessment (i.e., walkthrough vs. test of control)Perform an effective engagement administration reviewComplete engagements so that the lights-out approach may be usedRecognize and document appropriate matters for Partner attentionAssist with financial reporting and ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standardsParticipate in industry-related meetings or seminarsLearn and appropriately use industry-specific terminologyFunction without close supervisionAsk for assignments that will support specialty developmentParticipate in debriefing sessionsRequirements:Associate degree in Business3years of experience performing governmental auditsCPA a plusMust possess above average computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office programsMust be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in written format.
