An employer is looking for a highly skilled legal administrative assistant to join one of our largest national clients for a hybrid contract engagement. In this role you'll join a growing team within their real estate department. In order to be successful on this team you must have prior experienceworking as a legal admin within a legal setting, i.e. for a law firm. This could include legal fillings and working directly with lawyers and/or paralegals.Responsibilities:- File opening, management and closing- Draft correspondence- Internet research and preparation of reports- Assist with real estate closings and corporate filings- Records management, including organizing and maintaining legal documents and records- Facilitating check requests and document packagesWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Required Skills & Experience- 2 years of prior administrative experience within a legal setting (i.e. for a law firm)- Specific experience with legal fillings- Prior experience working hands on with lawyers and paralegals- Ability to commute to their downtown Minneapolis location 3-4 times/week- Team player and collaborative mindset- Willingness to learn Nice to Have Skills & Experience- Have experience in a law firm or legal department- Are self-directed with the ability to work independently -with diligence- Can handle competing priorities and manage time well- Communicate proficiently, both verbally and written- Have a strong attention to detail, proven customer service skills, and the ability to prioritize a variety of tasks and deadlines- Have a strong working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
