- Manage all facets of the e-discovery process, including identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, and production of Electronically Stored Information (ESI).
- Utilize advanced features in Relativity and Reveal software for review and production of ESI.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, trials, etc., which includes preparing exhibits, witness binders, and other supporting documents.
- Liaise with IT department and external vendors to ensure efficient and effective e-discovery processes.
- Conduct complex legal research, gather relevant information, and prepare reports as needed.
- Analyze and review various documents related to construction law and complex commercial litigation.
- Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.
- Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and integrity.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in complex commercial litigation is required.
- At least 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably within the construction law domain.
- Proficiency in e-discovery processes and tools, including Reveal and Relativity software.
- A bachelor's degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of complex cases and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Paralegal certification is preferred but not mandatory.
