This resource will be providing support for all network buildouts, expansion, and decommissioning projects. He/She will gather requirements and discuss project scope, timeline, budget, etc. and then perform an initial assessment detailing project site conditions, deficiencies, and requirements for infrastructure build. This resource will be responsible for all build related work, for example: building the network configuration templates for all distribution, wired, and security switches based on the latest approved network engineering designs, build basic connectivity templates for wireless controllers, firewalls, and voice gateways based on the latest approved security/UC engineering designs, upgrade/downgrade IOS codes on network hardware to approved versions of code, etc. He/She will also be there to decommission (disconnect, power down, remove, and label all network equipment) and move equipment from site to storage. 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer in a large scale, multi-vendor environment enterprise environment Advanced experience with routing protocols, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF.
