This includes but is not limited to assembly of parts, subassemblies and components, testing, loading/ unloading, and palletizing finished product.Responsibilities*Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.*Positions parts and components by using work instructions.*Verifies specifications by testing product and visually inspecting quality.*Assembles products using hand tools and other equipment.*Resolves verifiable assembly problems to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources if needed.*Palletizes and gets product ready for shipment, once complete.*Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.*Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.*Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.*Contributes to team effort by accomplishing production requirements as needed.Qualifications*Lifting/carrying of less than 50 pounds.*Standing greater than 6 hours per day.*Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions.*Ability to work around machinery.*Ability to use hand tools and do repetitive work.*Manufacturing Experience is considered*Ability to wear PPE including but not limited to earplugs, safety glasses, metatarsal and guarded boots.McWane is a Federal VEVRAA contractor and an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to providing equal employment opportunity in all employment practices.
