Summary
The Hydraulics Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and identifying hydraulics systems. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
* Knowledge of fluid power formulas
* Read and assemble equipment from prints and drawings
* Read hydraulic schematics and have a good understanding of symbols
* Commissioning hydraulic equipment
* Coordinating maintenance and repairs
* Collaborating and cross-training with partner departments on other drilling equipment
* Maintaining the spare parts inventory and ensuring spares meet safe operating standards
* Adhere to all company safety standards and regulations
* Be available for 24-hour on-call to the field when required
* Excellent troubleshooting skills and resolving hydraulic problems
* Reading and assembling equipment from prints and drawings

Education
* Minimum 5-10 years experience in the hydraulic industry oilfield preferred
Experience
* Hydraulic training or certification would be beneficial
