Are you a skilled technician with a passion for heavy equipment?Job Summary:We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Technician to join our growing team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a diverse range of equipment, including aerial platforms, heavy-duty and light-duty trucks, and construction machinery. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service and support.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify and address mechanical issues.
  • Perform precision repairs and replacements of worn or damaged components.
  • Operate and maintain various types of heavy equipment to diagnose defects.
  • Utilize specialized tools and equipment to assess and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Rebuild gearboxes, outriggers, and boom lift cylinders with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.
  • Replace, assemble, and test hoses to ensure optimal performance.
  • Test repaired or assembled equipment to verify compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and safety inspections.
  • Accurately track costs and maintain detailed records of parts, services, and labor.
  • Adhere to company safety standards and best practices.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven mechanical aptitude and experience with parts
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, heavy equipment, diesel trucks, and farm equipment preferred
  • Proficiency with standard computer software (MS Office Suite, internet)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
