A day as a Hygiene & Quality Assurance Assistant
  • Help ensure quality and hygiene standards are met for food, beverage, ingredients, merchandise, and supply items manufactured and distributed to our airline clients.
  • Provide support before/at customer audits, health department inspections, training and consultations and ensure employees understand and comply with applicable standards.
  • Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team
WHO YOU ARE
  • Knowledge of HACCP, ISO, and food safety systems.
  • Food Safety Certification, state specific if applicable.
  • Proactive and self-organized.
  • Ability to manage through a substantial workload.
  • Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to accurately monitor wastage.
  • Flexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays)
