I&C Specialist has the knowledge and experience to provide clients with the superior services. This person will be onsite with our client to determine the specific needs for their situation. - Responds to maintenance requests in the field.
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues with the industrial PLCs and DCSs.
- Performs root cause analysis of issues.
- Documents and communicates steps taken to resolve issues.
- Interprets and uses drawings to track down and troubleshoot instrumentation, wiring, loop sheets, and control system issues.
- Redlines drawings.
- Supports the plant after hours as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all client policies, procedures, safety, and technical standards.
- Represent and balance the client's and the organization's interests.
QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES
- No bachelor's degree required, relevant experience required
- 3+ years of experience
- Modicon, Emerson DCS, Rockwell
SKILLS
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose PLCs & DCSs.
- Strength in reading and interpreting instrumentation plan drawings, I/O drawings, wiring diagrams, and loop sheets.
- Ability to program PLCs/HMIs/DCSs is a plus
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated work ethic, integrity, and professional conduct.
