This organization is one of the nation's leading producers of biofuels and animal feed. It owns and operates two state-of-the-art grain processing facilities in Texas. This company has the capacity to produce more than 250 million gallons of ethanol per year. This privately-held company is based in Frisco, Texas and employs 100 people.Under minimal supervision, the candidate plays a key role in delivering fundamental electrical support to plant instrumentation and control systems, including routine and preventive maintenance activities, HSSE/compliance and contractor management. The I&E Technician will ensure that their work meets all companies HSSE standards and compliance requirements set forth by the company's procedures and electrical governance in coordination with all companies Operational and Mechanical Maintenance Teams.Essential functions and basic duties:- Installs and maintains single and multi-phase electrical power feed and branch circuits includingconduit, service control wire, fuse and breaker panels, switches, control sensors, outlets, junctionboxes, lighting fixtures, splices, connectors, and ground wiring for red and black installations- Will be required to work on and must be familiar with DC voltage applications, along with low voltage single phase and including 480v to 4160kv three phase circuits- Ensures that the material utilized and the workmanship meets the requirements of the applicabletechnical codes and safety standards.- Installs and maintains complex instrumentation such as pressure transmitters, temperaturetransmitters, vibration transmitters, control valves, solenoid operated valves, analyzers, flow meters,and so on- Reads and interprets P&IDs and electrical schematics- Assist with planning and scheduling of I&E maintenance activities utilizing the E Maintenance workorder management system and assure work activity alignment with the company's operation,maintenance, and engineering teams.Monday - Friday day shift position.Base salary, plus overtime, great benefits and a 401k. Occasional on-call duties.
