I.P. - Patent Prosecution Associate

Our client is seeking a Patent Associate with at least 1 year of legal practice experience, ideally at a law firm, to join their Life Sciences Practice. This position is available in multiple office locations, including Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Seattle, New York, and Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have a PhD (or MD with research experience) in one of the following disciplines: organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, cell biology, immunology, molecular biology, microbiology, oncology, gene editing, gene therapy, or a related field. Candidates must either be admitted to the Bar in the jurisdiction where they will practice or be eligible for admission. Membership (or eligibility for membership) with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Bar is also required. The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Strong academic credentials.
• Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal skills.

Compensation and Benefits The anticipated salary range for this position is $235,000 to $390,000, depending on qualifications, experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.
