- Execute all aspects of ice cream cake, ice cream sammie and ice cream production, including ingredient prep, recipe execution, and inventory management
- Implement and execute daily ice cream production plans
- Maintenance and care of production equipment and tools
- Effectively use and update proprietary ice cream inventory management software
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas
- Clearly communicate needs or issues with shop managers
- Greet customers to make them feel comfortable and welcome
- Follow Sweet Cow's operational policies and procedures
- Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
- Quickly and accurately prepare menu items including ice cream, ice cream cakes,and ice cream sammies
- Check quality and temperatures throughout the day to ensure Sweet Cow quality and safety standards are met or exceeded
- Follow sanitation and safety procedures including knife handling and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shop and ensure proper set up and/or breakdown of the prep areas
- Work as a team to prepare the shop for each shift
- Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture of Sweet Cow
- Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Contributes to a positive team environment
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
- Impeccable organization and planning skills
- Mastery of basic arithmetic, fractions, decimals, percents, ratios and both English units of measurement and the metric system.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Team oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Some English preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 16 years of age
EXPERIENCE
- Previous service industry and production experience preferred
