DescriptionJob PurposeThis is a seasonal position and performs duties for a variety of positions with primary focus on excellent customer service at a seasonal roller rink.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPractice excellent customer serviceGreet all guests promptly and politelyAbility to give guests proper directions to the facility within local surrounding areaCommunicate clearly and professionally with guests and staffExecute policies and procedures professionally and accuratelyPass out skates to guestsReturn skates to skate racksDisinfect skatesClean/wipe down skates upon returnUse skate sharpening equipment to sharpen skatesDaily cleaning tasks within departmentRequired to attend all training sessions and staff meetingsMaintain a clean and safe facilityRequired to be ready to work immediately at time of scheduled shiftAssist customers with equipmentAny other duties as assignedRequirementsQualificationsMust be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysMust be at least 18 years of ageExcellent customer service experienceCash handling experience preferredMust be willing to comply with all federal, state, and local COVID mandates/guidelines which may include but are not limited to: mask requirements, mandatory vaccinations, social distancing, proper PPE, etc.RequirementsWorking ConditionsPosition is located at a recreational or outdoor facility. Work may be done both indoors and outdoors.Physical RequirementsPosition can involve sitting, standing, walking, running, stooping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and roller skating.
