Education and Experience:- Must have high school diploma or GED
- Prefer some experience working with the IDD population
- Must have valid TX driver's license and be insurabl
Job Purpose:- Must demonstrate a concern for the rights, privileges, and dignity of individuals served
- Provides daily programming, training, direct care, and supervison to individuals served
- Will provide direct care and supervision to individuals with intellectual disability, mental illness, or substance abuse
- Must have understanding of the diagnosis of Intellectual Disability and its impact on persons
Job Function:- Will implement treatment plans, crisis intervention, documentation, and supervising medications
- Will maintain individual care in a safe, therapeutic and professional manner
- Must be able to administer CPR
- Must be able to consistently and accurately perform the documentation tasks as assigned
- Will demonstrate flexibility in adapting to a situation in which frequent interruptions are inherent
- Must be able to transport in Center vehicles both out of town and in town
- Must be able to work weekends, evenings, holidays and over night shifts
