Case Management currently does not have a weekend case manager, Epic processes have made this necessary, and now appropriate with a shared EHR system.This position will be located at Medical Center but will provide support to all Deaconess Illinois Epic facilities, remotely to Crossroads, Union. Utilization Review activities are needed to be completed 7 days a week due to new Epic processes to ensure all patients have the correct class order through application of Medical Necessity. Assure registration matches the order by completing that function throughout the weekend for all three facilities, This is a new Case Management task and Epic process requires this to be completed 7 days a week.
