Job Description: •Position Details o Type of Resource Requested (ex: RN, Physician Assistant, etc.): Cath Lab Tech o Position Title (Specialty): Special Procedures Technologist o On-call (Y/N): Y § If yes, what are the on-call requirements? 1 weekday/week; 1weekend out of every 4 weekends. Followsdepartment rotation and standards. o Hours PerShift(ex: 8, 10, or 12): 10 o Shift Start Time: 0700 •Department Specific Details (ex. nurse/patient ratio, float or weekendrequirements, charting, equipment, special qualifications, or certs.): EPexperience preferred; coronary and peripheral case experience such a CTO,carotid stenting, , and complex peripheral intervention. • Performs diagnostic radiographic exams.
• Utilizes PACS and EMR systems
• Performs interventional procedures per protocol and established procedures.
• Maintains appropriate IV and Contrast Competency
• Follows established protocols and procedures for proper patient position, exposure control, and radiation protection.
• Performs office duties as needed.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all involved in the patient care process.
• Cleans and inspects departmental equipment
• Cleans and stocks Imaging rooms.

Education

• Associate degree

Licenses and Certification

• ARRT Certification in Radiology
• IEMA
• BLS

Experience and Skills

• Technical experience: 3 years
