Job Overview: An Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides essential bedside care and supports the healthcare team in a hospital setting. They perform a range of nursing duties under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) and physicians, focusing on delivering direct patient care and ensuring patient comfort. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications and injections, assisting with wound care, and recording patient information. LPNs also help with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients, and they educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans. Effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various medical tasks are crucial, along with a compassionate approach to patient care. The role requires a valid LPN license and often prior experience in a healthcare setting. Experience: Clinical experience preferred Education: Required: Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS). Compensation:Hourly Range -$21.75-$32.63 Incentives: Eligible for evening/night, weekend shift incentive based on company policies and applicable job codes.
