They are responsible for supervising nursing staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and staff development, as well as coordinating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. The ER Nurse Manager also manages departmental resources, including budgeting and inventory of medical supplies, and ensures compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. They play a key role in developing and implementing policies and procedures, addressing patient and staff concerns, and leading quality improvement initiatives.Required: Certifications/Licenses/Experience:- Active Registered Nursing license in the state of Illinois-Three years previous management experience preferred-At least five years previous experience in a clinical setting
