Our expert solutions encompass an array of game-changing technologies, including state-of-the-art sonar, radar, expendables, signature management, and naval power systems.Join us in shaping the future of naval warfare and together, we will safeguard the seas and empower navies worldwide!The Ultra Engineering function manages a portfolio of specialist capabilities, generating highly differentiated solutions and products by applying electronic, mechanical, and software technologies in demanding and critical environments to meet customer needs.Nationality Requirements Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
  • Create, control and revise all ILS and SDRL required documentation
  • Maintain configuration management over all documents
  • Provides customer interface for all documentation issues
  • Plan and coordinate all in-house system level testing
  • Select and procure test equipment
  • Select and coordinate the use of outside environmental test labs
  • Generate failure reports
  • Ability to use basic test equipment i.e. DMM's, digital oscilloscope, current and voltage probes
Required Skills:
  • Associate's degree in electrical engineering technology or equivalent
  • 5 years technical writing and/or engineering test experience, preferably for military applications
  • Skilled in developing written test procedures for military and/or commercial applications
  • Skilled in preparing technical manuals for military applications and/or commercial applications
  • Strong analytical abilities to conduct data reviews from test results
  • Skilled with MS Office, Visio and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and block diagrams
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
  • This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization
Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • AutoCAD skills a plus
  • Photo editing software knowledge helpful
