An organization in New York City is currently a licensed Physician, with a Family and/or Internal Medicine background, for a promising opportunity at one of their clinics in Queens. About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (4 days clinical; 1 day telehealth/admin)
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: Clinic
- Patient Population: Adults
Responsibilities: The Family / Internal Medicine Physician will be responsible for:
- Perform history and physical assessments, as indicated
- Provide services in accordance with generally acceptable standards of medical practice
- Develop a plan of treatment/care for the patient that also includes education and follow-up visits
- Make referrals, as indicated by the needs of the patient
- Communicate with other healthcare providers related to diagnosis, treatment and plan for the patient either verbally and/or through documentation in the medical record
- Maintain current and complete documentation in the medical record that reflects the care and services provided to the patient
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of NY
- Board Certified / Eligible in Family and/or Internal Medicine
- Experience working with the adult population
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
