TITLE: Imagery Analyst (Mid-Level) LOCATION: Marine Corps Intelligence Activity, Quantico VA OVERVIEW: The Imagery Analyst (Mid-Level) will exploit and analyze imagery from a variety of sensors to answer intelligence questions and deliver GEOINT products in support of USMC operations and planning. The analyst will apply knowledge of imagery interpretation, geospatial tools, and military systems to extract key information from imagery data. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Exploit and analyze multi-source imagery data to prepare GEOINT assessments and products
- Perform imagery-derived measurement and signature analysis (MASINT) to identify military activities
- Develop and maintain imagery collection requirements supporting USMC intelligence needs
- Collaborate with GEOINT counterparts across DoD/IC to optimize tasking, processing and dissemination
- Maintain technical proficiency and adapt to new imagery sources, applications and production methods
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in geography, geospatial science or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience conducting imagery analysis and GEOINT production in DoD/IC
- Knowledge of remote sensing principles, imagery interpretation techniques, and GEOINT systems
- Proficiency in imagery exploitation, mensuration, and visualization tools (e.g. SOCET GXP)
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and GEOINT Professional Certification (GPC)
