Immigration Administrative ClerkEmployment Type: Full-Time, Mid-LevelDepartment: Office SupportCGS is seeking an experienced Immigration Administrative Clerk to provide direct support to attorneys, paralegals, and case coordinators in all administrative aspects of immigrationcases for a large global law firm.CGS brings motivated, highly skilled, and creative people together to solve the government's most dynamic problems with cutting-edge technology. Here at CGS, we offer an environment in which our employees feel supported, and we encourage professional growth through various learning opportunities.Skills and attributes for success:- Processes time entries, opens new matters, drafts legal services agreements/engagement letters, makes travel arrangements, processes expense requests for reimbursement, maintains calendar, manages incoming mail and tracks packages- Maintains legal files (both paper & electronic), and organizes/files documents in required order- Prepares immigration applications/petitions for filing/mailing including compiles hardcopies of applications prepared by overseas team members, requests checks, processes invoices and creates shipping labels- Places service requests/USCIS inquiries- Assists with address change applications, premium processing upgrades, appointment rescheduling requests, reentry permit applications, visa approval packages, and other small applications/filings- Notifies clients of receipt notices and any scheduling notices (e.g., fingerprints, interviews, etc.)- Conducts necessary data entry, including uploading documents received from clients and entering client details in case and document management systems- Assists with overflow work and performs additional duties and responsibilities as assignedQualifications:- Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative or support role within a law firm or similar organization- Knowledge of immigration processes, legal documents, and submission requirements preferred- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, as well as basic proficiency in data entry and managing electronic filesIdeally, you will also have:- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and the ability to collaborate well in a team- Ability to problem-solve, use good judgment and work under pressure to meet strict deadlines Our Commitment:Contact Government Services (CGS) strives to simplify and enhance government bureaucracy through the optimization of human, technical, and financial resources.
