Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Immigration Attorney to join their reputable law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immigration law, excellent client service skills, and a passion for helping individuals navigate the complexities of immigration processes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in all areas of immigration law.
- Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, as necessary.
- Stay current with changes in immigration laws and policies.
- Advise clients on legal rights and obligations, including family-based and employment-based immigration matters.
- Manage a diverse caseload and meet deadlines effectively.
- Work collaboratively with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law and in good standing with the state bar.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in immigration law.
- Strong knowledge of immigration law and procedures, including family-based and employment-based immigration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to client service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience representing clients in court.
- Membership in the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
