IMMIGRATION Paralegal Full-Time Bilingual Paralegal – Court Procedures

Full-Time Bilingual Paralegal with expertise in Asylum, DACA, Deportation Defense, Immigration Court Representation, and Voluntary Departure. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in immigration law, be fluent in both Spanish and English, and have a strong passion for supporting clients through complex immigration processes. This is an in-office position within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparation and filing of Asylum, DACA, Deportation Defense, and Voluntary Departure applications.
  • Support attorneys with Immigration Court Representation, including case preparation, document management, and client communication.
  • Coordinate and follow up with clients, immigration authorities, and legal representatives to ensure timely filings and updates on case progress.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including motions, affidavits, and responses to immigration proceedings.
  • Research immigration laws, policies, and procedures to support case strategies.
  • Provide direct client communication, ensuring clients are informed and up-to-date on their case status.
  • Assist in the preparation of evidence and exhibits for hearings, including gathering and reviewing supporting documentation.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a paralegal in immigration law, with a focus on Asylum, DACA, Deportation Defense, and Immigration Court Representation.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) – both written and verbal communication required.
  • Strong knowledge of immigration law and procedures, particularly in the areas of asylum, deportation defense, and court representation.
  • Experience in Immigration Court proceedings is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Ability to handle sensitive client information with professionalism and confidentiality.
