Job DetailsJob LocationCORPORATE OFFICE - Cape Girardeau, MOPosition TypeFull TimeEducation LevelNot SpecifiedJob ShiftVarious ShiftsDescriptionSummary/Objective: An IMOs Assistant Manager is responsible for maintaining guest service in the IMOs Restaurant area, oversees and is accountable for the food service in assigned store, which includes ensuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandise inventory, expense control, and managing food operating costs.JOB DESCRIPTIONEssential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Mission Statement: knowledge of and use of mission statement and core values.
  • Guest Focus: Ensure that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
  • Profitable Sales: Assist assistant general manager IMOs in offering suggestions on how to achieve the budgeted sales and maintain budgeted gross Profit in food areas.
  • Financials: Control shrink, expenses and payroll.
  • In-stocks: Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels, merchandise adjacencies and presentations; signing, and assortment in Restaurant; ensure Food area is adequately stocked within store.
  • Goals and Objectives: Review store trends and recommend changes for maximizing goals and objectives.
  • Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
  • Performance Review: Continually evaluate and communicate performance issues and actively recruit Food Service employees.
  • Talent Management: Train and develop restaurant employees; direct and monitor training and development for employees on food service/IMOs team.
  • Freshness and Cleanliness: Must be able to ensure product quality of all deli and IMOs food items - prepared consistent with state, local, and company standards, and ensure area is clean, neat and meeting company standards.

  • Supervisory responsibilities:This position has direct supervision of IMOs restaurant employeesWork Environment:This job operates in a retail environment with merchandise displays and items available for purchase in inventory.Physical Demands:The Physical Demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Position type/Hours of work:This position regularly requires flexible schedules, long hours, and frequent weekend work.Travel:Less than 5% to help out sister stores when needed, or attend needed trainings.Required Education and Experience:
