Job Description:
In this role you will be servicing all United States locations and Canada and you will be responsible for the installation and execution of the company's industry leading scrub and linen automation solutions and offerings.Implementation typically includes traveling onsite, uncrating and moving equipment into position, installing, networking and updating equipment, interfacing with clients, project management and sales; as well as training a wide variety of clients and/or partners to ensure their success in using this equipment.Once you get the equipment up and running and have trained people on how to use it, you will provide post install services related to equipment and technology. Additionally, the Implementation Engineer troubleshoots and solves technical problems related to hardware, software, firmware and processes, whether during an implementation or as needed for the highest escalated service calls.You will need to show you have strong electronics troubleshooting and repair experience, some mechanical experience, and basic networking experience (ability to set up IP address, modem or router would be enough).You will be the face of services for customer implementations, partnering with Project Management to achieve onsite success by leveraging extensive technical expertise, including hardware, mechanical, electrical, networking and software proficiency and well as deep understanding of company offerings. The Implementation Engineer also utilizes professionalism, communication and customer service skills to introduce and train clients on industry leading scrub and linen best practices to ensure the client is initially positioned for success and understands the value of their scrub and/or linen automation program.As an Implementation Engineer, you will take ownership of executing onsite installation game plans and must be willing and able to adapt as needed using excellent judgement, a great attitude and a clear understanding of how to achieve success despite unforeseen challenges.With a weekly travel requirement of up to 90% (out the door on Monday morning, not back until Thursday night or Friday most weeks with reset days provided), this is an incredibly visible position due to the enormous value created for and onsite daily interaction with customers and partners. It offers tremendous opportunities for learning and developing a breadth of skills, including hardware, software, electrical, mechanical, networking and of course client facing training, onsite management and issue resolution.Most travel will be driving due to COVID, but once things clear up you must be OK with flying to locations where you are needed across the US and Canada.The NY area role can be based out of NY, NJ, CT, Philly and a lot of your work, especially in the first year will be in the NYC area as they have a lot of work there right now, so your overnight travel may be less than 90% but you must be prepared for Monday - Friday overnight travel. Training in NY will be with a former Bradley-Morris placement who is the Team Lead for this area.The Atlanta area role will be 90% or more overnight travel. Training for this role will take place in Atlanta.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be:- A Problem solver, who enjoys aggressively solving complex and simple issues with enthusiasm- Professional and passionate, you must be about providing an amazing experience to customers both internal and external- Service oriented, someone who enjoys working with all levels of customers – from entry level to C level- An excellent communicator, who is flexible and able to adapt to different styles and modify their approach accordingly- A troubleshooter, who is familiar with troubleshooting electronic, mechanical, and networking issues and eager to improve.Base pay $28 - $30+/hour for NYC, $26 - $27 for Atlanta plus overtime. Travel expenses paid for by company including meals up to $65/day. 4-6 hours of overtime/week.
