Job Type Full-timeDescription***HYBRID POSITION IN NASHVILLE AREA*** The Implementation Quality Assurance Analyst is accountable for planning and overseeing testing activities during the implementation phase, which will include updating tickets for Development and/or Technical Analyst to detect issues, analyze the results, and escalate findings with researched solutions to the Software Development team.Implementation QA Analyst Essential Job Functions
- Reviews product design documentation to ensure requirements are correct, unambiguous, and verifiable
- Develops test strategies and detailed test plans based on project requirements
- Reviews system configurations to ensure the requirements are accurate prior to deployment
- Reviews and analyzes documentation for data imports and exports to ensure data is mapped correctly
- Verifies fixes and ensures the defects are properly resolved before release
- Assists with the build and execution of automated testing scripts
- Participates in development of quality assurance policies & procedures
- Assists with the creation of the definition of service levels and customer requirements
- Works closely with implementation, project managers, development, and technical analyst to ensure alignment on requirements and timelines
- Collects and compiles data for reporting quality metrics to management
RequirementsEducation for Implementation QA Analyst
- a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field of study from an accredited college or university or
- successful completion (certification or diploma) of a recognized Technolgy program and 2 years of direct experience preferably in the healthcare field or
- equivalent of 3 to 5 years experience in a IT QA environment preferably in the Healthcare IT field.
Implementation QA Analyst Competencies
- Detail focused - thorough and accurate in identifying process and workflow issues/errors; ability to read and interpret project plans, business requirements, and technical specifications
- Analytical skills - ability to research, analyze, and organize information and problem-solve to reach meaningful conclusions
- Multitask - ability to transition between QA assignments in order of their priority, without compromising quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and listening are critical to understand the needs of the technical and business team members and to document processes and create reports and analysis summarizing QA results
- Ability to work cross functionally with other teams in the organization including Development, Implementation, Business Owners/Stakeholders and Project Management
- Demonstrated proficiency in various computer applications related to job assignment; including Microsoft Office Applications Word, Excel, Power Point and Web Based applications.
- Knowledge and understanding of application development best practices
